The Bards

This year we went to Lenzerheide, a holiday region in the canton of Graubünden. The snow-decked countryside with its white woods and frozen lakes are breathtaking. You can go cross-country skiing, sledging or simply enjoy the scenery. There are over 155 km of ski slopes. We stayed at the Berghotel Tgantieni, it was lovely, right in the middle of the mountain!

WOW! Another year passed we had a wonderful Christmas celebration the children were full of excitement and we nearly canceled Christmas on account of bad behavior...But good ole Santa has a big heart! Enjoy a few pics!

Owen was cast as the Shepherd in his school play of "The three wise Kings"! He did a super job, enjoy a few pics of the play!

Samichlaus and smutzli visited Soraya's kinderkrippe and we were all invited to join the evening. Samichlaus came bearing gifts of fruit, chocolate and nuts. He took the time to shake the hands of the small children and greet them in kind way.

This was a special overnight trip Mom's and Son's. Deb and Owen went with some school friends of Owen. Nicolas and his Mom Melanie. Robin and his Mom Jo and Robin's Grandma Shiela. Braunwald is a small village located in Eastern Switzerland in the canton of Glarus, about 90 km south-east of Zürich. It has many great hikes and trails and the most popular is the 'Zwäärg Baartli’ dwarf trail which we followed over two days.

Soraya was christened at St. Theresa's Parish in Geraldton, Ontario on September 7,2009. Her Godfather is Deb's brother Daniel and her Godmother is Deb's Aunt Dee.
